Senior Data Analyst, Network Analysis

About me

William is a Senior Data Analyst in the Network Analysis Unit. He is an interdisciplinary researcher and technologist, collecting and processing data, building processes and tools, and applying machine learning and visualisation methods to find solutions and insights for programme and operations teams. He was the NAU’s founding analyst, helping to establish and promote the team and its mission. He contributes to team planning, manages external contractors, and acts as a data project liaison linking ECF data project teams. He also builds relationships with partner organisations and staff, onboards new unit members, and facilitates relationships with other operations and programme teams.

Prior to this, William worked as an independent communications and technology consultant for various clients, with a focus on NGOs and non-profits in the environmental and academic sectors. He is a life-long outdoors enthusiast, particularly hiking, camping, and backpacking. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, reading fiction, and practising jiu-jitsu.
