About me

Emma is Director of Development at the European Climate Foundation and is responsible for developing and managing relationships with funding partners. She is also a member of the foundation’s Strategic Council.

Emma is an experienced philanthropy and fundraising leader, with 18 years of experience working with and consulting to NGOs, mainly in international development and human rights. This included leading Amnesty International’s work with philanthropists globally and developing new philanthropic partnerships with ActionAid International in Asia – leveraging the power of philanthropy to tackle social and environmental challenges.

Originally from Ireland, Emma studied at University College Cork and Henley Business School. She lives in London and is happiest out exploring the world, particularly eating street food in Southeast Asia.
