Alyssa is an Associate for the ECF’s Transport programme.
Before joining the ECF, she spent the previous four years advising and developing political strategies for the energy-intensive, automotive repair and maritime shipping industries at a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy. Her work centred on EU legislation related to connected and automated driving, transport infrastructure, and the EU’s carbon trading scheme.
Alyssa began her time in Brussels at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and in the European Parliament’s Directorate for Parliamentary Research Services (EPRS). She holds a Master in EU Law, Economics and Sociology from the University of Hamburg. Alyssa is American, and she speaks German and basic French.
She envisions a future that is inclusive and with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.
