Alba Málaga Homs

Based in Brussels, Alba is the Strategic Communications Manager for the Climate Finance Programme at the European Climate Foundation. With a journalistic background, Alba has a decade of experience in communications, having worked for the corporate and NGO sectors.

Prior to joining the ECF, Alba was a Corporate Communications Director at Kreab’s Barcelona office, where she advised companies from the finance, real estate, legal and pharmaceutical industries, among others. Previously, Alba was a Communications officer at the WWF European Policy Office in Brussels, where she worked on media relations, EU-wide campaigns and digital advocacy.

Alba holds a Master’s in European Integration and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is a native Catalan and Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and has a good knowledge of French.
