Finance Strategy

About me

Anna’s work focuses on strategy, finance and economics. This includes financial and economic questions of risk and opportunity related to a low-carbon transition in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement. For example, what does compliance with the Paris Agreement imply for the financial sector? What transition scenarios should be applied and how can we ensure corresponding pathways can be followed efficiently and effectively by all actors affected?

Climate change thus has an impact on many sectors and issue areas that might seem unrelated at first sight. It is the fundamental nature of the climate race, and the complexity that comes with it, that makes it indeed vital to win.

Prior to joining the ECF, Anna was responsible for strategic planning and quality management at Stiftung Mercator, worked for Deloitte & Touche and spent four years of research at the European University Institute. She studied philosophy, political science and economics and completed a PhD. Now based in Berlin, Anna has lived in Italy, Switzerland and the UK.
