Claire is a Senior Associate with the ECF’s Industry & Innovation Programme, which aims to create an environment where a competitive, innovative, and net-zero emissions industry becomes possible in Europe by 2050. In her role, she helps steer and support many of the policy initiatives and grants within the Industrial Transformation 2050 project.
Before joining the ECF, Claire worked for Brussels-based public affairs consultancies where she advised clients on the EU’s environmental and chemical policies and helped sustainable frontrunners drive regulatory change. She also coordinated projects across a global network of independent government relations agencies. Prior to that, she gained experience in EU affairs through roles with various private, civil and public organisations including General Electric, Friends of Europe, and the European Commission.
Claire is originally from Canada and holds an M.A. in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
