Land Use

About me

Based in Brussels, Laura supports the ECF’s Land Use programme in its efforts to encourage Europe to address greenhouse gas emissions from the agriculture and the forestry sector, both within Europe and globally. Laura first moved to Brussels to join the European Commission’s DG DEVCO where she worked on the environmental programmes of the Commission’s partnership with Central Africa. Afterwards, in May 2020, she took up her role as Associate with the ECF.

Laura holds a Master degree in International Development from the Sciences Po and King’s College London and a Bachelors in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Maastricht University in the Netherlands. A native German speaker and fluent in English, she also has a good command of French and Dutch. She enjoys reading and travelling and is excited to apply her interest in climate issues and environmental sustainability to the ECF’s new land-use programme.
