Blanca is a Strategic Communications Associate for Energy at the European Climate Foundation, focused on clean power, renewable energy and Energy Democracy.
Over the last years, she worked as a Communications Consultant specialised in health, managing the communications of Pfizer in Spain, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, she joined the Strategic Communications and Advocacy Section (SCAS) at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia-Pacific region (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand, where she focused on a range of issues in the context of political development, public attitudes and local conditions in the Asia-Pacific region.
She holds a BA in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid and the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas of the University of Lisbon, where she spent a year studying Communications Sciences. She is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and has a basic understanding of French and Portuguese.
After a year living in Brussels, she’s now based in Madrid, her hometown.
