Jane is responsible for the ECF’s funder stewardship strategy, strengthening relationships and engagement with funding partners.
Jane has more than a decade of diverse fundraising experience, with particular expertise in institutional and foundation giving, and project development and management. She was previously Head of Development for the International Federation for Human Rights, where she managed strategic partnerships with public and private funders as well as individual and corporate giving programmes.
Before following her love of languages, food and train travel to Europe, she worked with a wide range of nonprofit organisations across Australia and New Zealand to build their capacity to effectively attract and manage grant funding.
Jane has a Master’s degree in Communication for Social Change, undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Arts, and holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) qualification. She speaks English, French and Spanish, and is studying Arabic.
Outside of office hours, Jane can generally be found writing poems with pens that she has borrowed and forgotten to give back.
