About me

Rannveig works as a senior associate in the ECF’s Industry initiative. She is involved in ECF’s Industrial Transformation 2050 project, which looks at net-zero emissions decarbonisation pathways and relevant policies allowing a thriving, net-zero resource and energy intensive industry in Europe, as well as developing ECF’s work on carbon embodied in materials for buildings and infrastructure.

Rannveig has previous experience with NGO work on climate and energy policies at EU level, especially related to policy framework conditions necessary to enable industrial application of carbon capture and storage technologies in energy intensive industries.

Rannveig chose to work in the field of climate action and at ECF in particular, because she thinks saving the world is a worthwhile effort.

Rannveig holds a Master of Science in Globalisation, Politics and Culture from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from Maastricht University. She has previously been an active member of the Norwegian section of the Young European Federalists.

Rannveig grew up in Norway with Dutch and German parents.
