About me

Sarah is a Programme Manager for Transport.

Prior to joining the ECF in December 2019, Sarah spent six years working closely with and for the EU institutions. Most recently she was Senior European Parliament Advisor to the UK Representation to the EU on transport, environmental and climate policy. Before this, Sarah worked for a Member of the European Parliament, focusing on corporate social responsibility, human rights and foreign affairs.

Before moving to Brussels, Sarah studied Law, obtaining an LLB (Hons) from the University of Exeter and completing a Master’s (LLM) in Public and Human Rights Law at University College London. Sarah also trained as a Barrister, being called to the Bar of England and Wales in November 2013 – she retains her collarette and gown but sadly not the wig.

Sarah is passionate about ensuring a rapid transition to a more sustainable, low-carbon society to combat the climate crisis and is delighted to now be working on this full-time.
