Thomas Legge

Thomas Legge is Director of External Relations, based in Brussels. He is in charge of managing the ECF’s relations with its funders, its board, and the wider philanthropic community.

Previously, Thomas worked on energy and environmental policy at the German Marshall Fund in Washington, DC and Brussels; at Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs) in London; and at the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels, Belgium. In 2007 he worked in the secretariat of Comhar – Sustainable Development Council, an advisory body to the Irish government, and in 2002-2005 he was a project manager for democratisation, good governance and human rights in the European Commission¹s delegation to Georgia and Armenia, based in Tbilisi.
