Jimmy Aldridge

Jimmy joined the European Climate Foundation in 2019 and co-leads the global steel programme.

He has over a decade of experience on energy, climate, and industrial issues working across academia, think tanks, NGOs and philanthropy. Prior to joining the ECF, Jimmy was Associate Director at the Institute for Public Policy Research in London. He led the Institute’s work on energy and climate, with a particular focus on the UK coal phase-out and European electricity markets.

Jimmy has also had roles at Greenpeace UK and Imperial College London. He holds a PhD and a Masters in energy from the University of Exeter.
