Jacob Armstrong

Jacob Armstrong is a Project Management Officer at the 2050 Pathways Platform, having joined the ECF as Administrative Assistant to the Platform and the ECF’s International Department in 2019, and has worked on various assignments within the Trade, Diplomacy and International Climate Politics Hub team. He leads convenings, events, administrative budget management and process optimisation for the Platform.

Before joining the ECF’s Berlin office, Jacob’s previous work has included administration and communications for a member of UK Parliament and as a supplier liaison in renewable energy consultancy on the UK and German markets. He also has a background in administration and research within international labour studies and advocacy organisations. Before joining the 2050 Pathways Platform, Jacob provided administrative and pastoral support to New York University Berlin, part of the university’s global network of academic centres.

Jacob holds a BA in English and German from Wadham College at the University of Oxford. He is fluent in English and German and is currently learning Turkish.
