Ayoub Bakhtar

Ayoub joined the ECF in May 2023 as a Senior IT Officer, where he plays a key role in building the ECF’s Digital Workplace capabilities. In his role, he works on providing a smooth digital experience for all ECF staff. As a member of the Digital Workplace team within IT, Ayoub oversees key IT services related to the management of all IT equipment (end-user) and the ECF office network.

Passionate about information technology, Ayoub has accumulated extensive professional experience in various environments throughout his career. Over the past five years, Ayoub has provided high-quality IT services to the European Space Agency.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in IT and an Executive Master’s in Marketing and Management from the Business School Paris (Sorbonne), which brings a great combination of technical and business acumen. Furthermore, Ayoub has a certification in ITIL Foundation 4, which covers state-of-the-art IT service management practices.

A French citizen originally from Morocco, Ayoub speaks Arabic, French, and English, and has a basic understanding of Polish. Beyond his IT expertise, Ayoub is passionate about photography and travelling.

He joins the ECF with great motivation and is fully dedicated to making a positive impact in our collective fight against climate change.
