Daniel is a Senior Grants & Compliance Officer at the ECF, working with the 2050 Pathways Platform and the Global Initiatives Programme. He also works on the organisation’s due diligence work and is based in Brussels.
He studied Business Management and Law with a focus on European issues. Before joining the ECF, he was involved with different projects in the youth and environmental sector where he had the opportunity to work on grants, finance, and environmental awareness topics.
Originally from the Canary Islands (Spain), Daniel is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. In his free time, he enjoys being surrounded by nature, scuba diving, and travelling, and is passionate about marine biology and particularly sea turtles.
Daniel feels privileged to be working at ECF and contributing to the transition towards a net-zero society.
