Andrew Child

Andrew has led the strategic communications for the Trade Programme since January 2021, covering topics including CBAM and free trade agreements.

Previously, he was the UK lead for GSCC for two years and has a background in journalism, including more than a decade working at the Financial Times.

Andrew also holds an MSc in Climate Change Management from Birkbeck College, University of London, and in his spare time he enjoys nothing more than a long hike with friends. He can ask for the bill in seven languages.
