About me

Anqi is a Senior Associate for the Pooled fund on International Energy. Among other relevant topics, she focuses on enabling sustainable finance to be both a solution provider and facilitator to address environmental challenges in Asia and beyond.

Prior to joining the ECF, Anqi worked for over six years with different actors in the sustainable finance ecosystem. She was a manager at EY Hong Kong’s FSRM (Financial Services Risk Management), responsible for projects on climate-related financial risk management. As a technical advisor, she led the climate finance workstream of the Sino-German Cooperation on Climate Change at the German Development Agency, contributing to improving green finance policymaking on state, provincial and municipal levels. She was the first sustainable investment analyst at Allianz France, in charge of climate-related disclosure, climate scenario analyses/stress testing and portfolio decarbonization strategies (SBTi / NZAOA).

Anqi has a multi-disciplinary academic background. She studied international trade, economics and energy in both China and Europe. She holds an M.A. in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po Paris.

Having grown up in the countryside of China, observing nature and singing are her biggest passions. She would like to be a panda keeper in her free time.
