About me

Nadya is a Diplomatic writer and part of the EU Green Deal diplomacy team which aims to leverage the ambition of the European Green Deal at a global level. Her focus is on researching diplomatic cooperation related to the Green Deal, writing policy briefings and papers for informal diplomatic workshops, and presenting the ECF activities to funders.

Nadya holds a Bachelor’s degree in regional development and politics from Sofia University (BG), as well as a Master’s degree in spatial planning and environmental policy from Cardiff University (UK) and Radboud University (NL). She worked as a project assistant at the European Commission and later as public affairs officer at CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) where she was also involved in a network of partners in the climate community in Brussels. She joined the ECF with the motivation to help accelerate climate action worldwide.

Nadya comes from Bulgaria, but she is currently living in Vienna, Austria, where she gladly spends her free time doing sports like hiking, sailing, and cycling.
