Dan Doherty

Dan is a Senior Associate on the ECF’s UK programme, leading work on buildings, land-use, and UK climate diplomacy. Dan has over a decade of experience in environment policy, most recently working at the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs as Head of Trees and Forestry Policy, where he helped to raise tree planting rates in England to their highest level in a generation. He has an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Birmingham and a Masters in Public Administration from King’s College London.
