About me
Quentin Genard is Director for EU institutional relations at the European Climate Foundation. He leads the philanthropy’s activities related to the European Green Deal and the EU 2030 climate target in Brussels.
Before joining the ECF, Quentin acted as head of office at E3G, one of the leading climate think tanks in Brussels. He led the organisation’s activities on EU politics and governance. He was also a diplomatic advisor to a minister, an experience that today feels like a lifetime ago and where he learned that diplomatic skills and perseverance is 90 % of the skillset required in politics.
To compensate for the exclusive Belgium-based education at the Liège University and College of Europe, Quentin can nowadays regularly be found on the Brussels-Warsaw train line.
