Ivana Grubišić

Ivana joined the ECF in 2024 as a Strategic Communications Associate, focusing on fossil-free energy.

Before joining, she worked in the communications team at CEE Bankwatch Network. She led the communications efforts of a campaign that monitors EU funds to ensure that they support transformative and sustainable investments aimed at reducing energy consumption, promoting sustainable renewable energy, and developing smart grids, ideally owned by communities.

Before this, she worked on various multinational projects at WWF Adria on issues such as illegal wildlife trade, wildlife conservation, river protection, and stopping harmful hydropower development.

She holds a BA in Journalism and an MA in Communication Studies from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade. A native Serbian speaker, she is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish and German.
