About me

Gabriel works for the ECF’s Industry Initiative. His role is to support the development of the ECF Industrial Transformation 2050 project, which looks at net-zero emissions decarbonisation pathways and relevant policies allowing a thriving, net-zero resource and energy-intensive industry in Europe. He also looks at new technologies and relevant circular economy policies for industrial decarbonisation.

Before joining the ECF, he worked for four years at Eurocities, a network of major European cities, where he focused on smart cities projects that explore solutions to make our cities more sustainable while ensuring a good quality of life for their citizens.

Born in Germany, Gabriel grew up in France until he got a Master degree in European Law from the University of Nantes. Based in Brussels, he is always looking for ideas and solutions for a transition towards a more sustainable society. Out of the office, you will most likely find him cycling, playing football or practising any other kind of sport.
