About me
Samuel Leré is a Senior Associate in the ECF Trade Programme, supporting a network of grantees and partners to reform trade rules and make it serve the ecological transition.
Samuel started his professional career in an NGO to follow the COP21 negotiations. He spent 6 years at the Nicolas Hulot Foundation where he coordinated policy advocacy. He had the chance to create the trade programme of the FNH and led several campaigns to change European trade policy. He co-authored a book on the subject “Après le libre-échange. Quel commerce international face aux défis écologiques”.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Jean Moulin Lyon 3. He is based in Paris and speaks French, English and Portuguese.
He loves to travel the roads of France to go to his volleyball games or to participate in beach-volley tournaments.
