About me

Achraf is Senior Associate in France and Special Advisor to the CEO on climate justice and just transitions. He focuses on supporting frontline communities, social movements, and local organisations to drive change from the ground up, for example through work on housing renovation, energy access, mobility accessibility, and the strengthening of democratic foundations.

As a young French-Moroccan, he is also a community organiser. He founded a national community-based organisation that brings together new generations of local leaders and organisers from popular neighbourhoods and rural communities. Trained in community organising both on the ground and at the Harvard Kennedy School, he also holds an engineering degree in mathematics, data science, and artificial intelligence.

Achraf is a passionate fan of football and North African music, he would definitely recommend Raja Club Athletic’s chants, and the Casablanca group Nass El Ghiwane, famously called the “Rolling Stones of Africa” by Martin Scorsese!
