Achraf Manar

Achraf is an associate in the European Climate Foundation’s French programme.

He also works as a community organizer, leading a non-profit that gathers mostly citizens and young people from underprivileged backgrounds. Their mission is to fight for quality education and equal opportunities for all, both in France and through its International Day of Equal Opportunity, which has been embraced by over 20 countries.

Prior to joining the ECF in August 2022, Achraf was an associate at the French Senate, where he contributed to producing a report on protecting individuals by building the ecological social security of the 21st century. He was also selected to participate in a 6-month intensive young leaders program where he had the chance to discuss and reflect with high-level politicians, intellectuals and activists.

Achraf holds an engineering degree in applied mathematics, data science and artificial intelligence, and a master’s degree in innovation and sustainable development.
