Bruno Martin

Bruno Martin is Corporate Communications Senior Associate, based in Madrid. He works across internal and external initiatives to strengthen the ECF’s narrative and brand.

His background is in journalism and expert communications, within the science and environment beats. After working in press offices, newsrooms and, most recently, in the science communication agency Scienseed, he joined the ECF to focus on climate.

Bruno speaks fluent Spanish and English, with a basic grasp of French and Catalan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Durham University and a master’s in Science Communication from Imperial College London. Outside of work, he advocates for community-led climate action through the outreach project ecoinsomnes — and he can often be found swing dancing or hiking with a pair of binoculars around his neck.
