Sabine Mauderer

Member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank

Dr. Sabine Mauderer has been a Member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank since September 2018. She is currently responsible for Markets, Financial Stability, Sustainability, Data and Statistics, Human Resources, Controlling, Accounting and Organisation as well as Compliance. She is Chair of the “Central Banks and Supervisors Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS)” and a member of the Exchange Experts Commission.

Prior to her current responsibilities, she held several senior positions at the KfW Banking Group and worked as a senior adviser at the Federal Ministry of Finance and the German Embassy in Washington.

Sabine Mauderer was born in Schleswig in 1970. She studied law in Germany and Spain and holds a PhD from the Osnabrück University and an Executive MBA from the ESSEC & Mannheim Business School.
