About me
Ermi is a Senior Associate who joined the ECF’s International Energy Programme in 2023. In her current role, she collaborates closely with funders, NGOs, and other partner organisations to co-develop strategies aimed at facilitating a global clean transition in the power and steel sectors.
Prior to joining the ECF, Ermi worked as an analyst at the International Energy Agency, focusing on supporting clean energy transition in emerging economies through analytical work and institutional engagement. Her career began at Southern California Edison, an US power utility, where she contributed to environmental strategy and long-term resource planning.
Ermi holds a B.S. degree in Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Originally from China, she has lived in Los Angeles and Berlin before settling in Paris. During her free time, Ermi immerses herself in the rich cultural activities of Paris. She is also an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoying rock climbing, hiking, surfing, and scuba diving.
