Lena Möller

Lena Catrin Möller is a Senior Associate for the Gas and Hydrogen Team, based in Berlin. In their role, they lead the ECF’s work on hydrogen and biomethane to support the EU in becoming climate-neutral by 2050.

Previously, Lena worked for a consultancy advocating for renewable energy sources and energy efficiency measures in international projects. They have been active in several grassroots organisations promoting local and national climate action in Germany and the Netherlands.

They have a master’s in international relations from the University of Groningen, where they also supported the campaign against fracking in Groningen province in 2018 and helped set up a climate camp in the area.
