Lucía Moreira Rodríguez

Lucía joined the ECF as a grants officer in January 2024. Based in Berlin, she provides support to the Transport Programme.

Lucía holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences from University College Maastricht, The Netherlands, and obtained her Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Leipzig, Germany.

Prior to joining the ECF, she worked in different administrative roles, such as account managing and controlling in alternative energy systems.

Originally from Costa Rica, Lucía is fluent in Spanish, English and German, and has a good understanding of Italian. She likes being outdoors, especially when the weather is warm. She also enjoys indoor activities such as crocheting and knitting, the occasional pottery class, spinning, or cooking something new at home.
