Jessie is the Strategic Communications Manager for the UK. From tackling air pollution to mobilising the public and building broad political consensus for action, her role is to support a network of organisations focused on the most promising initiatives in climate and energy.
Prior to joining the ECF, Jessie was a creative strategy and content consultant, working on issues that included responsible investment, gender equality, renewable energy, social housing and digital innovation. Before that, she spent a number of years working in-house for charity think tank New Philanthropy, evidence hub Project Oracle, and social impact consultancy The Social Innovation Partnership. Jessie is passionate about telling creative, evidence-based stories that change how we think and act, always looking for a clear and compelling relationship between visual and written elements.
Jessie studied History of Art at the University of Cambridge, and holds a Masters in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS. Outside work, she enjoys etching, singing and walking. She also runs a women’s discussion group.
