Britt Elvira Ruitenberg

Britt Elvira is the Senior Communications Associate at ReNew2030, based in Brussels, where she drives strategic communication efforts to help shape and amplify the initiative’s global impact and reach.

She brings a diverse communications background from roles at leading international organisations, including a previous experience at the European Climate Foundation, the European Cultural Centre in Venice, and Human Rights Watch. Her expertise spans corporate and strategic communications, content creation, social media, and editorial work—most notably for Spain’s Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020.

Britt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, with recognition in Humanities Studies, and a Master’s in Environmental Humanities from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.

She is a native speaker of Dutch, Catalan, and Spanish, and fluent in English and Italian, with a working knowledge of French. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading Spanish literature, and watching a good rom-com movie.
