Micol Salmeri is a Senior Associate, based in the Berlin office, managing projects to support governments at the international to elaborate robust and inclusive long-term low-emission development strategies (LT-LEDS) in accordance with Article 4.19 of the Paris Agreement.
Before joining the ECF in July 2021, Micol worked in environmental consulting, advising public sector and business clients across the globe on a wide range of energy and climate change issues, collaborating with organizations such as UN Environment, UNIDO, AfDB and IDB.
Micol studied Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment at University College London, International Public Policy and Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Economics at Bocconi University Milan.
She is fluent in English, French, Italian and German and has a good understanding of Spanish.
In her free time, Micol enjoys taking pottery and ikebana classes.
