Nimali Samarasinha

Nimali is a Programme Manager in the ECF’s Climate Governance Programme, where she focuses on how democratic innovation and other governance tools can drive climate action across Europe. She also serves as an Advisor to the European and National Just Transitions Portfolio, working to strengthen processes and foster collaboration within and between our strategic portfolios.

With a solid background in strategic communications, Nimali brings valuable experience from both her time at ECF and her previous roles.

Originally from Germany, she completed her studies in the UK and has lived in Belgium for the past decade. Outside of work, Nimali enjoys exploring nature and playing or listening to music.
