Jorge works as an Associate for the Spain Programme at the ECF. Before joining in September 2022, he worked for several years at Fundación Alternativas, a Spanish independent think tank, managing and contributing to projects in the field of public policy. More concretely, he focused on issues related to socioeconomic inequality and democratic participation, topics that he would like to explore more deeply in their relation to climate change while at ECF.
Jorge holds an MSc in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences (major in Political Science and International Relations) from Amsterdam University College. Between 2015 and 2019, he was also the editor-in-chief and politics editor of the digital magazine and cultural platform La Grieta.
Born and raised in Madrid, he is now back in his hometown after having lived in different cities and continents.
