Ashley Sherwood

Ashley Sherwood is the Executive Assistant to ECF Executive Directors Joss Garman, Keith Allott and Quentin Genard.

Ashley has several years of experience in European climate politics, having worked for climate-focused foundations, campaign groups and publications. She spent three years working in the European Parliament on a number of policy issues – ranging from climate and environment to social justice – before spending some time as a freelance editor. Her main interest areas are human rights in the context of climate change with a specific focus on gender and LGBTI advocacy. She has spent much of her career campaigning, having helped devise strategies and carried out campaigns and demonstrations for local, national and European elections and within large corporate and political institutions.
