Ploypailin Sundarajumpaka Abels

Ploypailin Sundarajumpaka Abels is a Programme Manager for the 2050 Pathways Platform, which she joined in October 2025. She leads strategic coordination of the Platform, overseeing programme and people management, country workstreams, and the delivery of key initiatives to advance long-term climate pathways.

She brings over eight years of experience in international development and climate policy, supporting developing countries in advancing their climate ambitions. Prior to joining ECF, she worked at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Thailand and Germany and was seconded to the NDC Partnership as a Country Engagement Specialist, where she focused on resource mobilization, national planning processes, and partnerships between governments and international organisations.

Ploy is a solution-oriented advisor with expertise in project development, partnerships, and strategic processes, and is passionate about driving sustainable and equitable solutions in multicultural contexts.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (International Relations) from Mahidol University International College
