Lola Vallejo

Lola Vallejo joined the European Climate Foundation in December 2024 as the new Director of the Diplomacy team within the International portfolio. Previously, she led the climate program at the Paris-based think tank IDDRI from 2018 to 2024 and co-chaired the UNFCCC’s Sharm el-Sheikh Mitigation Work Programme.

She also supported international climate negotiations as the manager of the OECD-IEA Climate Change Expert Group and assessed the United Kingdom’s adaptation policy as part of the Committee on Climate Change, the national advisor and watchdog.

Lola holds a Master’s in Finance from Sciences Po and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College. She speaks French, English, Spanish, Italian, and some Chinese.
