Louis Willis

Louis is a Manager in the UK programme team, where he focuses on maintaining the political consensus for climate action in the UK and ensuring that this is translated into policy delivery.

He previously worked in the UK civil service as a policymaker across a range of issues. Most recently, he led the trade team in the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), where he worked on the intersection between climate, trade and industrial strategy.

Louis studied Politics at the University of Cambridge. He is a proud South Londoner, and outside of work he enjoys an evening out at a restaurant, cinema or gig, as well as trying (and usually failing!) to replicate any gastronomic heights in his own cooking.
