About me
Thomas Willson is a Programme Manager for the ECF Transport Programme.
Thomas joins the ECF after more than eight years focused on transport and energy in Brussels. He has worked for associations that represent cities and environmental NGOs to advance zero-emission transport and sustainable urban mobility in the European Union.
Most recently, Thomas coordinated mobility policy for Eurocities, a network of 190 cities, where he was responsible for the development of a mobility advocacy strategy for the EU. Previously, he managed programmes on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy and refrigerants for ECOS, an environmental network focused on standardisation. Thomas holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science Legislation and Management from Brunel University and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Exeter.
Outside the office, Thomas can ideally be found bikepacking somewhere across Europe.
