About me

Chan is the co-lead of the steel programme at the European Climate Foundation. She is responsible for incubating a new wave of efforts to scale the progress of decarbonisation in the steel industry. In this role, Chan works closely with funders, institutions and partner organisations across the globe to co-develop high-impact strategies and direct grant-making.

Prior to joining the ECF in 2020, Chan co-founded a FinTech start-up to provide alternative finance to sports and entertainment ventures. She was also a strategy consultant to pre-product, impact-driven start-ups that leverage emerging digital technologies for achieving integrity and community empowerment. Between 2012 and 2018, she served as a global relations strategist and policy analyst at the OECD, where she built and managed a portfolio of partnerships and projects with key emerging economies, notably China.

Chan is a long-time blockchain enthusiast and passionate about technology and investment for impact. She holds a management science degree from Fudan University and a Master’s in economics from Sciences Po Paris.
