William Coomans

William joined the ECF in September 2023. As business controller, he is involved in the Foundation’s budget process.

Before the ECF, he spent several years working in the energy and insurance sectors as a financial controller, overseeing the financial closing and follow-up of the company’s projects. He has additional experience in credit management.

William sees joining the ECF as a great opportunity to do his part in helping to tackle the climate crisis. He speaks French, Dutch and English fluently and holds a master’s degree in business administration. In his free time, he likes to act in the theatre, go to the gym and enjoy the Brussels life.
