Anna Defour

Anna joined the ECF as a Grants Officer in January 2023. Based in Paris, she provides support to the Climate Finance programme.

Passionate about supporting the creative and transformative power of activists and social movements, Anna previously worked on a range of human rights issues for the Open Society Foundations, the European Network against Racism, and the European Roma Information Office.

Anna studied political sciences and holds a Master’s degree in European law and European affairs from the Institut de Sciences Politiques – Lyon. She speaks French, English, Spanish, and German, and some Catalan and Hungarian. In her free time, Anna enjoys baking all kinds of cakes and desserts and tries to balance her sugar intake with outdoor activities and sports.
