Rebekka Popp

Rebekka is a Senior Associate in the ECF’s Germany Programme. Her work focuses on advancing the transition of Germany’s energy system and industry to climate neutrality.

Before joining the ECF, Rebekka was Head of European and International Politics at Stiftung KlimaWirtschaft (the German CEO Alliance for Climate and Economy), where she worked with German businesses to advance climate action. She also spent several years at the climate think tank E3G, working to secure a just transition to a fossil-free power sector in Europe.

Rebekka holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Potsdam and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Mannheim.
