Blanca Sánchez

Blanca is a Strategic Communications Senior Associate at the European Climate Foundation, leading the digital and culture work. She develops and coordinates digital communication strategies, working with content creators and emerging digital formats to help partners connect with key audiences. Alongside this, she oversees ECF’s culture work, building connections with screenwriters, streaming platforms and other cultural stakeholders to create new opportunities for climate storytelling and public engagement.

Before joining ECF, Blanca worked as a Communications Consultant managing the communications of Pfizer in Spain, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, she was part of the Strategic Communications and Advocacy Section at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand, where she worked on communications and public engagement initiatives across a range of political and social issues in the Asia-Pacific region.

Blanca holds a MA in Communication, Culture, Society and Politics and a BA in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid.
