Daniel Steinmaier

Daniel supports the Communications Department of the European Climate Foundation in Germany.

Prior to joining the ECF, he worked for the German-Syrian human rights organisation Adopt a Revolution, which supports Syrian civil initiatives, and for Pro Asyl, Germany’s largest organisation for refugee rights and asylum. Prior to his work in human rights, he worked as an editor for the German weekly Jungle World.

Daniel studied in Freiburg, Toulouse and Berlin and holds a master’s degree in German literature, philosophy and sociology.

In his free time, he loves hanging out with his kids, building stuff in his little garden, and playing electric guitar unplugged on the couch.
