Mélissa joined the ECF in September 2022 as a Senior Associate, working across the Clean Power, Buildings, Gas Infrastructure & Politics, and International Energy programmes.
Before joining the ECF, Mélissa worked as a programme manager at the environmental organisation ECOS, where she influenced ecodesign and energy labelling policies and advocated for the decarbonisation of the heating sector. Prior to that, she began her career as a scientific officer in an industry association representing the recycling industry.
Mélissa holds an agricultural engineering degree from l’Institut Agro Montpellier and also specialised in chemicals risk management at AgroParisTech. She recently obtained a postgraduate degree in energy and climate from the University of Antwerp.
Outside of work, Mélissa enjoys sports, keeping up with the latest internet trends, and travelling (by train) to sunnier places to escape the Brussels weather.
