Our 2024 Annual Report reflects on a year that both tested our community and revealed its strength. This edition highlights the achievements of our network, the lessons drawn from a shifting political landscape, and the path forward toward a green, democratic, and peaceful future.

2024 marked a turning point. While climate action has become deeply embedded across societies, we now face a more coordinated and well-resourced opposition. Yet even in this challenging context, our community delivered. From the EU’s landmark nature restoration law to the UK’s coal phase-out and progress at COP29, these wins were made possible by the strength and readiness of our ecosystem.

While this report captures only a fraction of the hard work of our partners, it stands as a testament to the strategic foresight, agility, and deep expertise of our network. These efforts show that together, we are capable of driving real and lasting impact.

Now, following shifts in the EU elections and rising geopolitical tensions, climate policy is under growing pressure. With COP30 and the 10-year anniversary of the Paris Agreement ahead, bold leadership is essential – and philanthropy will be a driving force. Europe must lead by advancing the Clean Industrial Deal, aligning climate action with citizens’ economic concerns, and promoting innovation, fairness, and resilience. As multilateralism comes under strain, Europe must step up. Together with our partners, we are ready to act swiftly and strategically.
